POETRY IN MOTION
Poetry in Motion is a project that aims to explore meaningful connection through poetry and the handwritten word. The Winter 2026 edition is out now with Winter’s Long Night by Maeve McKenna.
This edition’s poem is by Sligo native Maeve McKenna and celebrates the Winter Solstice. Or perhaps re-envisions it for us, reminds us, that in Celtic tradition the longest night was a sign of rebirth, the return of the sun, and hope.
